How to keep your motivation high ?



It’s not always easy to spring out of bed in the morning feeling motivated and ready to seize the day, particularly during the winter months when we want to stay in bed or watching a movie with a hot chocolate and popcorn. So what can you do to keep your motivation high ?


Write your goals

Put on a paper what you have in your mind. Remember to keep your goals realistic, that way you won’t be disappointed if you don't reach them. That doesn't mean you can't push and challenge yourself though, if you don't challenge yourself, then it's not really a goal. If you start to lose sight of your goals, then you may be less motivated than if you were always checking to see how much closer you are getting throughout the whole process. Keeping track of your goals and checking your progress can help keep you motivated day in and day out.


Give yourself time

You can get overwhelmed and that’s alright. You may be burning yourself out, and a much-needed break might be just what you need. If you want to eat something you know that is really bad for you, you can do it but in a small. Remember that you do it for you, for your health and if you need time, take it.


Motivational stories

You may watch someone who inspire you so keep doing that, watch or read something you know will keep you motivated. Everyone deserves a great pep talk every once in a while. Stay elevated by watching YouTube videos of inspirational moments so you can suddenly feel a new sense of motivation to keep striving. You can even watch an humoristic movie that will give you smile and think about something else for a moment.


And Finally, Use affirmations

Speaks positively, say things to yourself by affirming them and you will see that it is easier to do them. You can tell yourself things like « I will achieve my goal », « Each time I fall, I get back up again », « I can do it », « I am strong », « This is my new life », « I am healthy ».

These are a few things to keep you motivated on our program, don’t forget that if you started this journey with us, it’s because you found the motivation and your capable to do it.
